Research Activities:
The Research culture has been fostered in the institution, with constantencouragement to teachers and the students to indulge into research activities.Department of Commerce & proposal has been sent for the department of Political Science, Economics andHistory. Some of the departments ofscience are in pipeline for the same as the science stream has recently shiftedto the present campus and the labs are being established with the same purpose.Registered Research Supervisors are 05 in all, including thePrincipal of the institution. About 10 research scholars havebeen already awarded their Ph.D. The faculty members try to get their Researchpapers & Review articles published in reputed Journals; and during the last5 years the total number of publications has reached up to 114,. 1 Book is published by the principal of the institute.
InnovativeActivities: I
Innovativetechniques and ideas have always been encouraged for implementation inteaching, learning and self help activities that create a unique InnovationEcosystem in the campus. The programs and various workshops are conducted underthe Skill development & Entrepreneurship activities. Our institution iscollaborated with many agencies (MoU).
Extension Activities:
In the last 5 years, the college has contributeda lot in the special welfare and awareness of the students as well as theneighborhood community. The wide range of Extension activities through NSS, RedCross and Women Cell have been impactful in sensitizing the students to social issuesand holistic development. The AIDS awareness is attempted through rallies,lectures by renowned doctors and collaborating activities with Red Ribbon Club.NSS activities, camps in villages and involvement in ‘Swachh Bharat’ and ‘VoterAwareness’, make the students more responsible about their social duties.
